Who We Are:
Equal Rights for Fathers is a supportive forum for father's issues
relative to separation & divorce. Membership in Equal Rights for
Fathers is open to any individual interested in improving the divorce
experience for parents , children and the restructured family.
We have been serving the Rochester Region since 1975
What we believe:
That maintaining meaningful parent/child relationship should be the
primary goal of any custodial arrangement. That children enjoy
healthier emotional development when they are loved, cared for, and
supported by Both parents. That parenting is a task that can be
successfully completed by both parents after divorce. That the
separation and divorce process need not be destructive to the family .
ERFF, in no way, condones or tolorates spouse abuse. No one, for any
reason, deserves that.
Why we do this:
Our objective is to substantially improve childrens experience of
divorce. through improving the relationship between between children
and fathers. Operating as an informal forum for self help, we
accomplish this objective incrementally, person to person. Equal Rights
for Fathers offers a unique opportunity for those wishing to identify
themselves in times of personal adjustment. Each person who attends our
meetings, or requests information through email can find a wealth of
helpfull information from either source.
